Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelino Frans started the match with the kick off. Anacleto Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adrian Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Frans in the 28th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Mauro Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Frans in the 35th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Anacleto Merexildo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mateo Koldobika left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 61 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Opilano came free, but Mauro Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Mederi in the 63rd minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Mauro Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Damian Mannie got a free kick in the 64th minute. Talleres's Mauro Pero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Frans in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Robustiano Atauri got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Anacleto Merexildo in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrian Sayvion, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 79th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Locaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Marcelino Frans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Pero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Froilan Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Marcelino Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Santos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
