Timoteo Elizardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Modesto Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Timoteo Elizardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timoteo Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gran Malvina FC's Candido Bernebe got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Jude was the one to do the kick off. Charlie Jude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Hernando having to interfere. With a left leg Modesto Hernando saved Gran Malvina FC from getting behind. Charlie Jude got in the 66th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Modesto Hernando handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Charlie Jude cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Modesto Hernando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Gran Malvina FC defense, Charlie Jude kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Hernando. The Gran Malvina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Hernando should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Erasmo Oliverio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Modesto Hernando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Gora's late challenge caught a Saladillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Gora helped the player get up and apologised. Julio Gora hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Gran Malvina FC's Modesto Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Salazar in the 88th minute of play. Timoteo Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Modesto Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Hernando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Jude's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Gran Malvina FC's Modesto Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Jude in the 94th minute of play.
