Timoteo Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Chinotuerto FC booed when Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Jude didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Beltza hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Erasmo Oliverio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Jaizki came free, but Humberto Marsella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Seguinus in the 27th minute of play forced Chinotuerto FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Timoteo Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saladillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Elizardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saladillo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Cristobal Koldo scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Marsella, making the score, 1-1. Fausto Orioli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eugenio Dacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Jaizki to make the kick off. Timoteo Elizardo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eugenio Dacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saladillo. In the 57th minute, Edelmiro Orlanda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Chinotuerto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Salazar came free, but Eugenio Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Salazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Dacio came out and tried to block the shot, but Roque Salazar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Chinotuerto FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Dacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Arias. Saladillo's Humberto Marsella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Jaizki in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Timoteo Elizardo made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Dacio. Chinotuerto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. If Timoteo Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chinotuerto FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saladillo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
