After 9 played minutes, Bife a caballo F.C's Anier Tabby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorino Gasteiz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bife a caballo F.C reached it. After 12 played minutes Bife a caballo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Anier Tabby. Luisito Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Matei having to interfere. Arnulfo Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Unax in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chachapoyas AFC's Victorino Gasteiz got control of the ball when Ignacio Erramu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Erramu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Victorino Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Oxarra lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chachapoyas AFC! Anier Tabby shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ignacio Erramu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Victorino Gasteiz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ignacio Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gogo Unax made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ignacio Erramu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Victorino Gasteiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Pedroso during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chachapoyas AFC booed when Bife a caballo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Chachapoyas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Pelagius. If Gogo Unax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Eugenio Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bife a caballo F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Pasqual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Erramu in the 77th minute of play forced Chachapoyas AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Gaxan charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Gaxan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chachapoyas AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bartolo Gaxan hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Ignacio Erramu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Pasqual kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Victorino Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Victorino Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bife a caballo F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
