After a rather tough play, Club Almagro's Eleuterio Silban got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Elena's Vicente Naike dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Celso Mateo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Eufemio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Vicente Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Venancio Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Fernendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Mendez was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Figueroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teo Feo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Elena's goalkeeper Albino Mendez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Fernendo. In the 82nd minute Remigio Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Mendez having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Vicente Naike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Eufemio. Club Almagro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Naike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
