After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ismael Lesardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Replico's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Lesardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicentini's Herminio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Lesardo in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Roberto Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Lesardo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Herminio Cordeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Replico. Vladimiro Chucho charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Chucho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vladimiro Chucho hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Roberto Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Replico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Goren in the 46th minute of play forced El Replico's goalkeeper Takis Soukis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Oscar Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Herminio Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Ramon Esdras came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the El Replico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Esdras couldn't finish the play. Ismael Lesardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Cordeal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ismael Lesardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Goren in the 74th minute of play forced El Replico's goalkeeper Takis Soukis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Laureano Gaztea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Herminio Cordeal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Emilio Mosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ismael Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
