If Dario Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Cordeal having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Vladimiro Chucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Cordeal came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Almagro's Remigio Figueroa. But to his dismay, Remigio Figueroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Victoriano Fernendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Herminio Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Figueroa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Cordeal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Bartolo Flores sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Cordeal skillfully saved the ball. Remigio Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Goren charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Goren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robustiano Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Fernendo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Cordeal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Remigio Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Beremundo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Santikurtz to make the kick off. Victoriano Fernendo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 53rd playminute. Vicentini's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Remigio Figueroa scored to the left of an out of position Herminio Cordeal, making the score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Figueroa got free with Herminio Cordeal in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herminio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Figueroa in the 63rd minute of play. Victoriano Fernendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Herminio Cordeal made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Vladimiro Chucho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Eufemio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Remigio Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Fernendo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 86th playminute. The Club Almagro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Almagro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
