Angelo Selvi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Esdras in the 42nd minute of play forced La Faustina's goalkeeper Angelo Selvi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Ferrando kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. El Replico's attentive Emilio Mosen managed to snatch the ball when Anacleto Virila made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Ramon Esdras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Angelo Selvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Esdras in the 47th minute of play forced La Faustina's goalkeeper Angelo Selvi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramon Esdras to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramon Esdras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Selvi having to make a save. The supporters of El Replico booed when La Faustina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Lesardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Angelo Selvi made a huge save. If Roberto Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Faustina's zone, Ramon Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Selvi came out of the goal and Ramon Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Nestor Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match, Ramon Esdras got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Selvi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Angelo Selvi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Esdras in the 80th minute. Ramon Esdras made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 83rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Angelo Selvi would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.
