Takis Soukis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ramon Esdras came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the El Replico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Esdras couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Esdras to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Tifón de Boyacá's goalkeeper Cleto Umbruso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Ramon Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Roberto Etxekopar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Tifón de Boyacá's Cleto Umbruso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureano Gaztea's late challenge caught a El Tifón de Boyacá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Gaztea helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Tifón de Boyacá booed when El Replico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Replico's Takis Soukis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Basajaun in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Santo Erramun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Tifón de Boyacá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Replico the free kick. In the 78th match minute, El Tifón de Boyacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Erramun to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes El Replico got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Hernandez. Cleto Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Lesardo in the 84th minute of play. Cleto Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Santo Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Takis Soukis was a little too slow when Albino Basajaun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 4-1. When the referee ended the match the El Replico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
