A collision led to Riveros getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marcelino Nicholas hit a great ball. Hipolito Orlanda hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Pello in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Quexal saved Vampires Soccer Club from getting behind. Hipolito Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vampires Soccer Club's zone, Hipolito Norino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Quexal came out of the goal and Hipolito Norino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gonzalo Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riveros's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Pello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Vampires Soccer Club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fernan Ganix hit a great ball. The supporters of Riveros booed when Vampires Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Arsenio Quirze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampires Soccer Club. When Isaac Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Vampires Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Quiroga couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, one of Riveros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Riveros. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Vampires Soccer Club's Lino Pancho got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arsenio Quirze. Mario Quexal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Norino went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Vampires Soccer Club's Ignacio Frisco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
