Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Kaxen in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Quirze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Riveros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Blas Kaxen scored to the left of an out of position Arsenio Quirze, making the score, 1-0. Blas Kaxen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenio Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Kaxen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Arsenio Quirze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blas Kaxen's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Kaxen was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Riveros's zone, Arnulfo Orlondon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Quirze came out of the goal and Arnulfo Orlondon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Riveros's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Kaxen came free, but Arsenio Quirze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Kaxen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Arsenio Quirze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Rengo F.C.. In the 62nd minute, Blas Kaxen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Kaxen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute Manuel Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
