Placido Efraim charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Efraim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Placido Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Callejeros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Generoso Diagur in the 7th minute. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Lucas Sabino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 12th minute, Dante Luke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Venancio Elazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Callejeros FC booed when Calafate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calafate FC's Venancio Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Eate in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Eate in the 16th minute of play forced Calafate FC's goalkeeper Venancio Elazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Melchor Madaleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calafate FC and the Callejeros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Melchor Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Calafate FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Luke. In the 24th minute of the match Generoso Diagur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Elazar skillfully saved the ball. Igor Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Nicanor Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Elazar having to interfere. Callejeros FC's Igor Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Munio in the 30th minute of play. Leo Cordaro's late challenge caught a Calafate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Cordaro helped the player get up and apologised. Leo Cordaro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Carmelo Munio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute Carmelo Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Lucian struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Igor Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calafate FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the Calafate FC defense, Nicanor Eate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Elazar. The Calafate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Elazar should have stopped the shot. Venancio Elazar came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Callejeros FC's Lucas Sabino. But to his dismay, Lucas Sabino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Carmelo Munio struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Igor Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calafate FC. Igor Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Munio in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Nicanor Eate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Lucas Sabino made a precise shot to the right of Venancio Elazar. Calafate FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 75th minute, Lucas Sabino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Callejeros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 79 minutes into the match, Callejeros FC's Lucas Sabino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Elazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lucas Sabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nicanor Eate came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Callejeros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Eate couldn't finish the play. Higinio Lucian hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Nicanor Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Elazar having to interfere. Calafate FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
