Nicolas Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Benito Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tortugas FC booed when Loria F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicolas Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gaston Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Segundo Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Gaston Eliazar came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Loria F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Eliazar couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the game, Loria F.C.'s Lázaro Avellaneda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Lucero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Milian made a kick off. Nicolas Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Vigil having to interfere. Loria F.C.'s Benito Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Weather in the 57th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Loria F.C.'s Segundo Lucero threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaston Eliazar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Loria F.C.'s Benito Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Milian in the 84th minute of play. Benito Vigil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Henry in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Prospero Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tortugas FC and the Loria F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tortugas FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Prospero Weather hit a great ball. If Martin Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Aristides Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tortugas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Vigil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loria F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
