The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Losers's Gerardo Lon got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Adan Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Losers getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Horacio Gabon hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Guillermo Matteo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adan Cresitobalo skillfully saved the ball. Teodosio Menendo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Gerardo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Tortugas FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Weather. Tortugas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Gerardo Lon scored to the left of an out of position Segundo Lucero, making the score, 1-0. Nicolas Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Cresitobalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. With his leg Segundo Lucero managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Losers's Benjamin Dei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prospero Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Cresitobalo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Losers's Gerardo Lon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Segundo Lucero. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. Segundo Lucero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Dei in the 46th minute. Gerardo Lon succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Lon to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tortugas FC's zone, Benjamin Dei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Lucero came out of the goal and Benjamin Dei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Losers's Benjamin Dei in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortugas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gerardo Lon struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Segundo Lucero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Losers. Aristides Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Losers got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Fertus. Adan Cresitobalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Milian's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Gerardo Lon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Segundo Lucero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Dei scored 5-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Segundo Lucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Gerardo Lon notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Tortugas FC's Segundo Lucero. Segundo Lucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Losers booed when Tortugas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Cresitobalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Milian in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tortugas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Losers.
