The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Beturian during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Perga FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gerardo Beturian hit a great ball. Baltasar Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Augusto Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Froilan Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Bemabe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esteinlab FC the free kick. Ricardo Telmo shot from long distance in the 19th minute, but Augusto Abascal was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Baltasar Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Bemabe got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 30 played minutes Perga FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Bemabe. If Nemesio Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Santio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froilan Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Augusto Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Baltasar Loi made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Abascal. Perga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Perga FC's Gerardo Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Baltasar Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Cortez in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Baltasar Loi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perga FC's Augusto Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Baltasar Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Loi in the 78th minute of play forced Perga FC's goalkeeper Augusto Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Gerardo Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Bieito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Beturian struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Denis Bieito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perga FC. Gerardo Beturian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Denis Bieito made a huge save. After having played for 88 minutes, Froilan Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esteinlab FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Esteinlab FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
