After 11 played minutes Guerrero got a freekick which was hit by Victor Claus. With a little luck, Guerrero's Domingo Furtado got control of the ball when Gerardo Beturian tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Feliu in the 15th minute of play forced Perga FC's goalkeeper Augusto Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Augusto Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Shepherd in the 18th minute of play. Nemesio Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Furtado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Millano in the 27th minute of play forced Guerrero's goalkeeper Domingo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Adolfo Harriet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guerrero the free kick. If Gilberto Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Feliu in the 46th minute of play forced Perga FC's goalkeeper Augusto Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teobaldo Bemabe fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perga FC's protests and gave Teobaldo Bemabe a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Perga FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Bemabe. After the first half Guerrero were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Perga FC's Augusto Abascal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Perga FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Saul Feliu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Nemesio Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes, Felipe Jerold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guerrero and the Perga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, one of Guerrero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guerrero. After a rather tough play, Guerrero's Ivan Sasoin got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Shepherd in the 70th minute of play forced Perga FC's goalkeeper Augusto Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Saul Feliu made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Abascal. Perga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 77th minute of the match Florentino Gipuzkoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Abascal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Saul Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Guerrero fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Guerrero's Saul Feliu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Saul Feliu in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Abascal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Augusto Abascal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Feliu in the 94th minute. Guerrero's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
