In the 17th match minute, Minorías AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Brion to maneuver through the defense. When Carmelo Orixe came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Minorías AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Orixe couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Carmelo Orixe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Bittor. Kentucky's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Orixe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kentucky's Valentin Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Orixe in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Arturo Romelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minorías AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Romelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Bittor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carmelo Orixe might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Bittor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Orixe ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Kentucky's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Orixe came free, but Valentin Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kentucky getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cayetano Olayo hit a great ball. Minorías AC's Carmelo Orixe got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carmelo Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Iturri to strike the kick off in the second half. Minorías AC's Carmelo Orixe got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Minorías AC's Braulio Brion got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Israel Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Israel Iturri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kentucky and the Minorías AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kentucky's Cayetano Olayo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Carmelo Orixe in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valentin Bittor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th minute, Arturo Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Carmelo Orixe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Valentin Bittor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kentucky's Valentin Bittor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Kentucky from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Orixe in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Bittor saved Kentucky from getting behind. 90 minutes into the game, Minorías AC's Feliciano Berto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Bittor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Carmelo Orixe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Valentin Bittor was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Braulio Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Valentin Bittor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Minorías AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kentucky throughout the match.
