The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes THIBAS FC Anexo got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Feliz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Franco in the 13th minute of play forced FC Ashworth's goalkeeper Florentino Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Ashworth's Emanuel Ortle got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Cirilo Franco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ashworth's Florentino Distiratsu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cirilo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Ortle during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Ortle kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Cirilo Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THIBAS FC Anexo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Alberto Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Alvarez hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes, THIBAS FC Anexo's Marcelo Peyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florentino Distiratsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in THIBAS FC Anexo reached it. After having played for 44 minutes, Cirilo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THIBAS FC Anexo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Justin struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Florentino Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THIBAS FC Anexo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Gregorio Nalo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, one of THIBAS FC Anexo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for THIBAS FC Anexo. The referee gave FC Ashworth a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sixto Cesaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of THIBAS FC Anexo's Santo Eate. 1-1. Santo Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Nalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, FC Ashworth's goalkeeper Florentino Distiratsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Franco. Santo Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to FC Ashworth getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alejandro Orixe hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Alejandro Orixe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Cirilo Franco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florentino Distiratsu. Cirilo Franco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 89th minute Angelino Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Cirilo Franco made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Distiratsu. FC Ashworth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. FC Ashworth's Florentino Distiratsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ashworth from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Distiratsu having to interfere. THIBAS FC Anexo played a much better game than FC Ashworth and deserved their victory. The FC Ashworth players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
