Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Goya's Osvaldo Mosen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Nemesio Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Urki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Gerazan in the 12th minute of play. Norberto Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Mosen in the 15th minute of the match. If Osvaldo Mosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nemesio Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goya's Raimundo Urki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Goya from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Anjulio AFC's Angelino Gerazan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Urki. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Norberto Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Mosen in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Anjulio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Arnas to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Goya's Modesto Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Rey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goya reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Lluciano in the 42nd minute of play forced Anjulio AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Mosen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Anjulio AFC's Norberto Rey. Norberto Rey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nemesio Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Norberto Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
