The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Isaac Herrera made a precise shot to the right of Santo Eate. THIBAS FC Anexo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Paulino Dacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Arielito F.C.'s Tiburcio Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santo Eate made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 17th minute Bernardo Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Franco struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Paulino Dacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THIBAS FC Anexo. If Aurelio Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. THIBAS FC Anexo's Maximiliano Justin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Maximiliano Justin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the THIBAS FC Anexo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Justin couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Franco had several of the Arielito F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Paulino Dacio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Santo Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Santo Eate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiburcio Venerando went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Maximiliano Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Jaen made a kick off. In the 59th minute Cirilo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Dacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of THIBAS FC Anexo booed when Arielito F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Rolado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Santo Eate made a huge save. THIBAS FC Anexo's Santo Eate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save THIBAS FC Anexo from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Franco in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Dacio saved Arielito F.C. from getting behind. When Maximiliano Justin came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the THIBAS FC Anexo fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Franco in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Dacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Maximiliano Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot. THIBAS FC Anexo's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Justin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a rather tough play, Arielito F.C.'s Geronimo Jorrin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, one of Arielito F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arielito F.C.. The referee gave THIBAS FC Anexo a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcelo Peyo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arielito F.C.'s Paulino Dacio. 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Arielito F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant THIBAS FC Anexo side.
