Domingo Maldonado started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Conrado Gustau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Maldonado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Anjulio AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Freddy Arnas hit a great ball. The supporters of Viento FC booed when Anjulio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Gustau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Rey came out of the goal and Conrado Gustau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viento FC's Gică Floruțiu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Maldonado might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Rey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Maldonado ran back to his position shaking his head. If Conrado Gustau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Domingo Maldonado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viento FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Conrado Gustau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Rey having to make a save.

Viento FC's Conrado Gustau got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Conrado Gustau off the ground. After 54 played minutes Viento FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Gustau. A collision led to Viento FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gică Floruțiu hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the game, Sergio Medardo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Anjulio AFC's Sergio Feliz got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Maldonado got free with Norberto Rey in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Norberto Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Fernendo in the 89th minute of play forced Viento FC's goalkeeper Faustino Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gică Floruțiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Norberto Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Rey having to interfere.
