Ulises Teofilio's late challenge caught a Ásgarðr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Teofilio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Muñeco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. When Santos Ramone came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ásgarðr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Ramone couldn't finish the play. Santos Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Txindoki having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Muñeco FC's goalkeeper Aristides Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Ramone. After 17 played minutes Muñeco FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Unax. Santos Ramone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Txindoki having to make a save. 22 minutes in the game, Santos Ramone fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aristides Txindoki having to interfere. Arnoldo Micael took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Txindoki. Muñeco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Aldo Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ásgarðr's Santos Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ásgarðr's zone, Sergio Ariando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Gabirel came out of the goal and Sergio Ariando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fernando Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Roderigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Fernando Roderigo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Muñeco FC's Aristides Txindoki. Aristides Txindoki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ásgarðr's Amado Gabirel got control of the ball when Sergio Ariando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ásgarðr's Amado Gabirel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ásgarðr from getting a goal against them. Santos Ramone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aristides Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ásgarðr's Santos Ramone pulled a muscle in his back after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 90 minutes, Jose Luzaide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muñeco FC and the Ásgarðr players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aldo Odilon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ásgarðr's Amado Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Odilon in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ásgarðr fans cheered their team off the field, for while Muñeco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
