The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aldo Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muñeco FC's Aristides Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Muñeco FC from getting a goal against them. Sergio Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Odilon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Fortun having to interfere. Anastasio Fortun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Odilon in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Amadeo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Picadillis's zone, Aldo Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Fortun came out of the goal and Aldo Odilon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Genaro Tebaldo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anastasio Fortun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Odilon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Beltza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Odilon to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Muñeco FC booed when C.A Picadillis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Kaxen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Iker Cruz from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Anastasio Fortun's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Muñeco FC's zone, Elias Bilintx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Txindoki came out of the goal and Elias Bilintx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Ariando came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anastasio Fortun could save by the left post. A collision led to Muñeco FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jesus Mitxaut hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Elias Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Picadillis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Otsando charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Otsando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Muñeco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
