Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Saturnin ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Naggasaki's goalkeeper Joel Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Saturnin. After a defensive mix-up in Naggasaki's zone, Domingos Nicholas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Shantala came out of the goal and Domingos Nicholas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Nicholas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Naggasaki getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Edelmiro Javiar hit a great ball. When Domingos Nicholas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Robles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Nicholas couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Bela's late challenge caught a Robles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Bela helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Naggasaki got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Bela. A collision led to Naggasaki getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Edelmiro Javiar hit a great ball. Faustino Ferran was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Saverio Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 played minutes Robles got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Chucho. The supporters of Naggasaki booed when Robles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Robles's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Fidensio came free, but Zacarias Cordarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Nicholas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Nicholas to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zacarias Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Naggasaki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Bela to maneuver through the defense. Naggasaki's Joel Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Nicholas in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Robles's Zacarias Cordarin got control of the ball when Fabian Gasteiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Gasteiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Zacarias Cordarin made a huge save. Fabian Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Cordarin having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Celso Saturnin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Shantala was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 90 played minutes Robles got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Ferran. For all the effort they put into the match, the Naggasaki players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Robles.
