The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Kaxen's late challenge caught a Robles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Kaxen helped the player get up and apologised. Anastasio Fortun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 12th minute of the match Julio Kaxen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Julio Kaxen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 16 minutes in the game, Domingos Nicholas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Genaro Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Omero during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Robles got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Omero. In the 25th minute, Faustino Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robles's Domingos Nicholas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Saturnin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Anastasio Fortun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Faustino Ferran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A Picadillis's Anastasio Fortun did a great save. Zacarias Cordarin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Donato Gaitano. When Elias Bilintx fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A Picadillis's protests and gave Elias Bilintx a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Robles booed when C.A Picadillis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Robles's Faustino Ferran tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Nicholas made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Domingos Nicholas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anastasio Fortun, 0-1. Domingos Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Elias Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Saturnin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Anastasio Fortun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robles's Celso Saturnin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Fortun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Nicholas in the 81st minute of play. Anastasio Fortun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faustino Ferran in the 94th minute. The corner ended in Faustino Ferran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A Picadillis's Anastasio Fortun did a great save. If Celso Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
