If Domingos Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgrano De Cordoba's goalkeeper Venancio Lugo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Robles's Patricio Hustaz got a free kick in the 39th minute. Eriberto Sendoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Zacarias Cordarin made a huge save. Orlando Ongile hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Eriberto Sendoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zacarias Cordarin. Eriberto Sendoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingos Nicholas was the one to do the kick off. If Celso Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Domingos Nicholas took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Venancio Lugo to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Saturnin got free with Venancio Lugo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venancio Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Nicholas in the 95th minute of play.
