Reynaldo Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Bihar struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Anastasio Fortun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Central Ferroviario. Central Ferroviario's Marcelo Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Osmundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Fortun was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, C.A Picadillis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. If Marcelo Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Reynaldo Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Central Ferroviario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Central Ferroviario's Alonzo Isauro got control of the ball when Genaro Tebaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonel Martxelin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Fortun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, C.A Picadillis's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Osmundo came free, but Anastasio Fortun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Osmundo was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Martxelin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Fortun having to make a save. If Marcelo Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Martxelin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 63rd playminute. In the 67th minute, C.A Picadillis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcelo Gaizko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Genaro Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Fortun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Gaizko in the 72nd minute of play. Reynaldo Osmundos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Anastasio Fortun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Marcelo Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central Ferroviario's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Gaizko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Fortun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Osmundo in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Fortun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, C.A Picadillis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Dino to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Leonel Martxelin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A Picadillis's Anastasio Fortun didn't even have to move. After 89 played minutes, Central Ferroviario's Horacio Maureo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anastasio Fortun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Central Ferroviario reached it. 91 minutes in the game, Reynaldo Osmundo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anastasio Fortun having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Central Ferroviario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Ezkerra to maneuver through the defense.
