Nistor Udrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Oskitz in the 6th minute of the match. Nistor Udrescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Oskitz in the 10th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Nistor Udrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Oskitz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Udrescu saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Guañacos's Jairo Mendez got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Fabricio Oskitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Udrescu came out of the goal and Fabricio Oskitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guañacos's Fabricio Oskitz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jimeno Quinito fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Jimeno Quinito a yellow card for diving instead. Jimeno Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Nistor Udrescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Cordairo did an outstanding performance 30 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Laureano Sasoin in the goal. If Pedro Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Sasoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by German Cordairo in the 38th minute. German Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Laureano Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Cordairo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Guañacos's Lázaro Benino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Udrescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Jaime Luken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Nistor Udrescu got control of the ball when Pedro Dei tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Pedro Dei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guañacos's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Dei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Udrescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Guañacos's Fabricio Oskitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nistor Udrescu. Nistor Udrescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 80 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Nistor Udrescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Dei. Guañacos were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lázaro Shepherd took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Jairo Mendez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Niceto Guillen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Udrescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Pedro Dei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nistor Udrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Guañacos fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Guañacos's Fabricio Oskitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Dei got free with Nistor Udrescu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Oskitz succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Guañacos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boca Juniors.
