After a rather tough play, Matadordeloeste's Leo Johans got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Aurelio Rio came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the RIVER PLATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Rio couldn't finish the play. In the game's 26th minute RIVER PLATE's Lisandro Jokin took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Albano Bazkoare and thus the score was 1-1. When Danilo Jobo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matadordeloeste's protests and gave Danilo Jobo a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Matadordeloeste got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Jobo. Aurelio Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Bazkoare having to interfere. If Raul Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Bazkoare in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Ado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raul Bide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Bazkoare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Rio struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Albano Bazkoare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER PLATE. Bernardino Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Bide in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Natalio Ado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
