In the 20th minute of the match, Danilo Millano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zeledon Ranolfo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 22nd minute, C.A. Alas Doradas's Danilo Millano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Geronimo Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Alas Doradas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Aznar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A. Alas Doradas's Danilo Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeledon Ranolfo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Baldomiro Azevedo. After having played for 41 minutes, Raimundo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pericote FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Pericote FC's Mauricio Nafarroa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mauricio Nafarroa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pericote FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mauricio Nafarroa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Pericote FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. Alas Doradas:s goal. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for C.A. Alas Doradas. Domingos Luke stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zeledon Ranolfo. 5-0. 60 minutes into the match, Pericote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Aznar came free, but Zeledon Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C.A. Alas Doradas booed when Pericote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Aznar in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Ranolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Danilo Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Ranolfo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Danilo Millano put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zeledon Ranolfo. Danilo Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th play minute Ubaldo Maidana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lucas Pirro. 6-1. The audience was convinced that Danilo Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Ranolfo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Danilo Millano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ranolfo. Pericote FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Millano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. After 89 minutes of play, C.A. Alas Doradas's Danilo Millano made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Ranolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 minutes, Geronimo Aznar made it 9-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pericote FC's Zeledon Ranolfo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Millano in the 100th minute of play forced Pericote FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the C.A. Alas Doradas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
