Gowlan FC's Rigoberto Ritchie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Nuxila in the 5th minute of play. The corner ended in Pastor Mon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gowlan FC's Rigoberto Ritchie did a great save. Enrique Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Emilio Kimetz made a huge save. After some careless play in the Gowlan FC defense, Tadeo Frances kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Ritchie. The Gowlan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Ritchie should have stopped the shot. Tadeo Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Tadeo Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guillermina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Tadeo Frances who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gowlan FC's Rigoberto Ritchie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tadeo Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rigoberto Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Tadeo Nuxila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeo Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Emilio Rito made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marcelo Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Kimetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Franco in the 62nd minute of the match. Enrique Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rigoberto Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Tadeo Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guillermina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Guillermina's Rigoberto Ritchie threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tadeo Nuxila, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emilio Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Franco in the 76th minute of play forced Guillermina's goalkeeper Emilio Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Emilio Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gowlan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Guillermina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guillermina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
