Zeledon Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Urtun in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pericote FC's zone, Lázaro Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Ranolfo came out of the goal and Lázaro Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Cecilio Cedro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Geronimo Dominic made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ubaldo Maidana sent off a good shot on target. Geronimo Dominic came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Pericote FC's Ubaldo Maidana. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Maidana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 36th minute, Lázaro Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes, Jonatan Ubendu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corzuela AFC and the Pericote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonatan Ubendu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Geronimo Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Corzuela AFC's zone, Ubaldo Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Bermudez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Corzuela AFC booed when Pericote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hipolito Felipillo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Lázaro Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corzuela AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Corzuela AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Franco came free, but Geronimo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Raimundo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pericote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Dominic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Raimundo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Arturo Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pericote FC's Zeledon Ranolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Pericote FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, Pericote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Lander to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lázaro Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corzuela AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Ranolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron Etxepare's late challenge caught a Corzuela AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Etxepare helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Etxepare hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Lázaro Bermudez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ranolfo. Pericote FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Bermudez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corzuela AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
