Domingos Urtzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albano Bazkoare having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Stephen in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Nardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabricio Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Nardo having to interfere. Danilo Jobo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bernardino Bazkoare sped through DOUGLAS HAIG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Nardo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Cugat during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DOUGLAS HAIG's Valentin Cugat got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Rodolfo Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Bazkoare in the 22nd minute of the match. Matadordeloeste's Bernardino Bazkoare got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DOUGLAS HAIG's Rodolfo Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Bazkoare in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Bazkoare in the 28th minute of play forced DOUGLAS HAIG's goalkeeper Rodolfo Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Bernardino Bazkoare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes DOUGLAS HAIG got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Jorrin. 35 minutes into the match, DOUGLAS HAIG's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Bazkoare came free, but Rodolfo Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Bazkoare in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Nardo saved DOUGLAS HAIG from getting behind. The referee gave Matadordeloeste a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Israel Montae, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DOUGLAS HAIG's Rodolfo Nardo. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Bazkoare made a kick off. Iker Aballe hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Matadordeloeste getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Danilo Jobo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DOUGLAS HAIG's Marcos Jorrin got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bernardino Bazkoare who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Nardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bruno Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Albano Bazkoare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DOUGLAS HAIG. Albano Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Urtzi in the 80th minute of play. If Bernardino Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Elivareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bernardino Bazkoare sped through DOUGLAS HAIG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Nardo. When Bernardino Bazkoare came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Matadordeloeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Bazkoare couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Matadordeloeste booed when DOUGLAS HAIG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Matadordeloeste's Bernardino Bazkoare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Nardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Matadordeloeste left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DOUGLAS HAIG.
