After a rather tough play, Gowlan FC's Prospero James got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes in the game, Lázaro Benino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rigoberto Ritchie having to interfere. Pedro Dei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rigoberto Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Atauri's late challenge caught a Guañacos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Atauri helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmacio Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Guañacos got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Mendez. The supporters of Guañacos booed when Gowlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gowlan FC's Emilio Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rigoberto Ritchie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Guillen in the 23rd minute of the match. Emilio Rito charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Rito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gowlan FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Emilio Rito hit a great ball. When Jairo Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Guañacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Mendez couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Ritchie didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guañacos's Fabricio Oskitz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 34th minute Lázaro Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, one of Guañacos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guañacos:s Laureano Sasoin showed great skill when he stopped Aaron Abadia:s penalty. Guañacos's Laureano Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Franco in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Guañacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Cordareo to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Rito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Oskitz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Guañacos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Franco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ciriaco Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Aaron Abadia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gowlan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guañacos the free kick. Aaron Abadia hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Fabricio Oskitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Benino in the 59th minute of play. Fabricio Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Benino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Oskitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rigoberto Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabricio Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. In the 83rd minute Pedro Dei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
