Spectators: 7141 (Terracing: 5466, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Natalio Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Ilixo in the 8th minute of play. Geronimo Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Natalio Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Ado came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Alas Doradas's Conrado Ilixo. But to his dismay, Conrado Ilixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marco Raymon hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Natalio Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Ilixo in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Conrado Ilixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Ado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Ilixo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Ado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrado Ilixo scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Ado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the RIVER PLATE defense, Geronimo Aznar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Ado. The RIVER PLATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Ado should have stopped the shot. After the first half C.A. Alas Doradas were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Conrado Ilixo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot RIVER PLATE's keeper Natalio Ado was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Natalio Ado made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Conrado Ilixo sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Conrado Ilixo took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Natalio Ado to make any attempt to save it. Conrado Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Ado having to interfere. When Donato Ladio fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER PLATE's protests and gave Donato Ladio a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Ilixo got free with Natalio Ado in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Geronimo Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Geronimo Aznar rounded RIVER PLATE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Aznar in the 86th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Natalio Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Ado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Ilixos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Natalio Ado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Conrado Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over C.A. Alas Doradas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RIVER PLATE throughout the match.
