In the 13th minute Claudio Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Corzuela AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Franco came free, but Geronimo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Rito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geronimo Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Gowlan FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudio Urtun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 26 minutes, Prospero James mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gowlan FC and the Corzuela AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Gowlan FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero James. In the 29th minute, Enrique Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Urtun during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Corzuela AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Urtun to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Ubendu charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Ubendu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonatan Ubendu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Enrique Franco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Dominic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When Emilio Rito came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gowlan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Rito couldn't finish the play. Enrique Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Dominic having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Rito to make the kick off. Claudio Urtun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Urtun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Adrian Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Urtun took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Ritchie. Rigoberto Ritchie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 64th minute Claudio Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudio Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Bermudez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rigoberto Ritchie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corzuela AFC. Claudio Urtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Ritchie having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Gowlan FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Atauri. Lázaro Bermudez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corzuela AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gowlan FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
