Americo Frederico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Playo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Frederico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Rafaela's zone, Tadeo Maties stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Frederico came out of the goal and Tadeo Maties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Maties in the 75th minute of play. Club Morbi's Benito Leoncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Club Morbi from getting a goal against them. If Silvio Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Silvio Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
