After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Severiano Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. 26 De Agosto's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Walme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, 26 De Agosto's Hermengildo Eron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dalmacio Walme made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Severiano Perez sent off a good shot on target. When Severiano Perez came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the 26 De Agosto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Perez couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Eron in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Pacifico during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Centro FC's Edelmiro Pacifico got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hermengildo Eron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dalmacio Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Eron to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, 26 De Agosto's Adolfo Flor got a free kick in the 54th minute. Dalmacio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dalmacio Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Eron in the 64th minute of the match. Centro FC's Dalmacio Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Perez in the 72nd minute of play. Dalmacio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Marcelo Diaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Charro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Diaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Geronimo Charro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Hermengildo Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 26 De Agosto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Severiano Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Walme. Centro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Severiano Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Walme having to interfere. Dalmacio Walme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Perez's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 26 De Agosto fully deserved thier win.
