An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Flor in the 16th minute of play forced Club Morbi's goalkeeper Benito Leoncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Hermengildo Eron made the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Charro came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Morbi's Silvio Horado. But to his dismay, Silvio Horado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Geronimo Charro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Playo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Silvio Horado notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of 26 De Agosto's Geronimo Charro. Geronimo Charro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 60 minutes of play, Club Morbi's Silvio Horado made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Charro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Club Morbi were awarded a corner. Franciszek Hejza went to the cornerflag to take it. Benito Leoncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Eron in the 82nd minute of the match. Ubaldo Benat hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Eulalio Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, one of Club Morbi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Morbi. Baldomiro Quinteros shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Club Morbi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
