Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nunez Etor started the match with the kick off. Cleto Miro hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Horado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Fernanco having to make a save. Hermengildo Horado struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Urbano Fernanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Cardos FC. A well placed Feliciano Poncio short distance shot in the 7th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN's Braulio Llorienzo got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, SAN MARTIN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciro Tróia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 17 minutes into the game, Los Cardos FC's Feliciano Poncio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Fernanco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Urbano Fernanco was a little too slow when Hermengildo Horado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 24th minute, Los Cardos FC's Hermengildo Horado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Feliciano Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Urbano Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Fernanco made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ciro Tróia sent off a good shot on target. Urbano Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Horado in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes SAN MARTIN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feliciano Poncio who took care of the corner kick. Los Cardos FC's Feliciano Poncio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Urbano Fernanco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eric Palm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliciano Poncio to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Feliciano Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Miro got free with Eric Palm in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN's zone, Hermengildo Horado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Fernanco came out of the goal and Hermengildo Horado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Hermengildo Horado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Cardos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Eric Palm made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cleto Miro sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Horado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Fernanco. SAN MARTIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Horado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 71st minute, Ciro Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Fernanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Hermengildo Horado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN's Armando Incendio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Urbano Fernanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Horado went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Ciro Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodosio Gartzi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Urbano Fernanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Los Cardos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
