Americo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Gregory in the 9th minute of the match. If Juan Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Americo Frederico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Gregory's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Honorato Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 17 minutes, Iker Gregory made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atletico Rafaela's Americo Frederico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Rafaela's zone, Juan Fidencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Frederico came out of the goal and Juan Fidencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Honorato Mogel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Americo Frederico. Atletico Rafaela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Mogel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Ledesma in the 28th minute of play forced Atletico Rafaela's goalkeeper Americo Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lorenzo Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Atletico Rafaela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Musquitas:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Gregory in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Frederico saved Atletico Rafaela from getting behind. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Iker Gregory sped through Atletico Rafaela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Americo Frederico. Americo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Ledesma in the 44th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Atletico Rafaela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Musquitas:s goal. After the first half Musquitas were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iker Gregory to make the kick off. The Musquitas fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Musquitas's Iker Gregory looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iker Gregory who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Americo Frederico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Musquitas's Lorenzo Valiente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Frederico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 66th match minute, Atletico Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Regis to maneuver through the defense. If Juan Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79th play minutes Iker Gregory shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Americo Frederico and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute, Lorenzo Valiente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Musquitas's Iker Gregory made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Frederico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iker Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Americo Frederico made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Honorato Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Musquitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Mogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Frederico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Americo Frederico came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Musquitas's Iker Gregory. But to his dismay, Iker Gregory quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. With a little luck, Atletico Rafaela's Americo Frederico got control of the ball when Prudencio Taurino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Musquitas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
