Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gervasio Maiorga kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Astor Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Rafaela's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 3 played minutes Deportivo Martes got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Eneas. In the 6th minute, Dionisio Baumar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Rafaela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute Gervasio Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Baumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Generoso Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Osoro having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Astor Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Osoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Deportivo Martes's Urbano Eneas suffered a sore thigh after 29 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 29 played minutes Atletico Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Regis. In the 34th minute, Aaron Pancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Astor Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Martes's Alvaro Sugoi got a free kick in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Furtado to make the kick off. Atletico Rafaela's Astor Furtado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Atletico Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Maiorga came free, but Americo Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Rafaela's Americo Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Montez in the 67th minute of play. Dionisio Baumar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Generoso Osoro made a huge save. Generoso Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Dionisio Baumar sped through Deportivo Martes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Osoro. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atletico Rafaela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
