Dionisio Baumar struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fernan Dubardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Rafaela. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 58 minutes of play, Atletico Rafaela's Astor Furtado made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Dubardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernan Dubardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes, Gabriel Osasun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Rafaela and the Parma players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Atletico Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Osasun to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Eugenio Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Florinio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Regis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Parma's Americo Frederico threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paolo Montrel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Astor Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Rafaela's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Dubardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Parma eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
