SAN MARTIN's Pastor Ignazio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Geronimo Charro but with some difficulty. Urbano Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Eron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Eron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Urbano Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Llorienzo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Severiano Perez struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Urbano Fernanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 26 De Agosto. If Severiano Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the game, 26 De Agosto's Severiano Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Fernanco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cleto Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Geronimo Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Espiridion kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Pastor Ignazio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Ignazio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Miro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Charro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Miro in the 54th minute of the match. Severiano Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes SAN MARTIN got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Etor. In the 61st minute Cleto Miro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Charro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Charro having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Nunez Etor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN MARTIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 26 De Agosto's Geronimo Charro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Miro in the 69th minute of play. Armando Incendio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Eron came free, but Urbano Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cleto Miro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Charro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 80th match minute, SAN MARTIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Rolado to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Hermengildo Eron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Fernanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 26 De Agosto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
