Cleto Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Americo Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, SAN MARTIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Arixo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Atletico Rafaela's Americo Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Rafaela from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Cayetano Sidoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Miro got free with Americo Frederico in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Americo Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Baumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Fernanco having to interfere. If Astor Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Dionisio Baumar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astor Furtado might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Furtado ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Baumar came free, but Urbano Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Miro might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Frederico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cleto Miro ran back to his position shaking his head. Nunez Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Atletico Rafaela's Americo Frederico got control of the ball when Cleto Miro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Furtado made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, SAN MARTIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Guillelmo to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Fernanco had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alberto Clodio from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Dionisio Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Atletico Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Llorienzo came free, but Americo Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Braulio Llorienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
