Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christian Luzaide made the kick off which started today's match. When Reynaldo Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Arrecifes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Gomez couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arsenio Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Cirilo Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Galoer came free, but Generoso Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Cristos in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute Apolo Gervaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Gervaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Gregorio Martxelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arsenio Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrecifes's Generoso Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Gervaso in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Apolo Gervaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With an all-out effort, MC RODO's Generoso Corderun threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Galoer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute, Apolo Gervaso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, MC RODO's Eriberto Galoer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Generoso Corderun. Generoso Corderun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Reynaldo Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arsenio Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Txerran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 89 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goalkeeper Generoso Corderun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Gervaso. Apolo Gervaso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Generoso Corderun came out and tried to block the shot, but Apolo Gervaso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 91st minute. MC RODO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
