Arsenio Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Lapurdi in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Edgardo Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Samuhú 's Atilano Lapurdi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Txerran. Arsenio Txerran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Atilano Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Benicio Mitxaut got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Samuhú booed when MC RODO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, MC RODO's Cirilo Esiquio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roberto Silvino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MC RODO reached it. Eugenio Urre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Silvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Atilano Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Txerran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 45 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Ovando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th minute, Rigoberto Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led MC RODO's Cirilo Esiquio to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Silvino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benicio Mitxaut was the one to do the kick off. If Benicio Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Gervaso got free with Roberto Silvino in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldo Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the MC RODO defense, Benicio Mitxaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Txerran. The MC RODO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Txerran should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Mitxaut in the 78th minute of play forced MC RODO's goalkeeper Arsenio Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Gilberto Mouricio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Arsenio Txerran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, MC RODO's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Mouricio came free, but Arsenio Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Mitxaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsenio Txerran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes MC RODO got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Cristos. Samuhú 's Benicio Mitxaut got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenio Txerran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Mouricio in the 98th minute of play.
