Arrecifes's Generoso Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Francis in the 5th minute of play. Generoso Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Francis in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Vellito got free with Generoso Corderun in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Francis came free, but Generoso Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Corderun was a little too slow when Teodosio Francis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Constantino Vellito notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Arrecifes's Generoso Corderun. Generoso Corderun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prospero Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arrecifes's Generoso Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Francis in the 29th minute of play. Constantino Vellito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Generoso Corderun made a huge save. Generoso Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Hitzeder was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Francis came free, but Generoso Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Gomez fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 43rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 45th minute, Mauro Tercero had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Gomez during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Gomez. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ladio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Tavio in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arrecifes's Gaston Hartz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ladio. That made the score 2-1 after 55 minutes of play. Cecilio Cordarrell scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Corderun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cecilio Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Corderun having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Gaston Hartz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrecifes and the C. A. Gorila players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, one of Arrecifes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arrecifes. The referee gave C. A. Gorila a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aaron Galoer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arrecifes's Generoso Corderun. 4-1. In the 90th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Tavio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of C. A. Gorila booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Espiridion didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Humberto Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arrecifes's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because C. A. Gorila had won, even though Arrecifes had held more of the ball.
