Chaguaral's Leo Cordarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Chaguaral from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Oihan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmacio Tohias went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Chaguaral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edelmiro Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Mojotoro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mojotoro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
