When Lino Montay fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Viatri's protests and gave Lino Montay a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Fc Viatri got a freekick which was hit by Lino Montay. Prospero Iratzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fc Viatri getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nestor Loi hit a great ball. Alfredo Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Leoncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Leoncio in the 13th minute of the match. Bernardo Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Froylan having to interfere. Alfredo Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Iratzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Bernardo Leoncio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute Prospero Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATL. SAN MARTIN's Bernardo Leoncio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Bernardo Leoncio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATL. SAN MARTIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd play minute Domingo Ilixo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silverio Afonso. 1-2. Natalio Erasto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Afonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Prospero Iratzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Froylan having to interfere. Prospero Iratzeder struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alfredo Froylan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATL. SAN MARTIN. When Rene Urbasa fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATL. SAN MARTIN's protests and gave Rene Urbasa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Rene Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Afonso having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Rico made the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Leoncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alfredo Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Fc Viatri's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Leoncio came free, but Alfredo Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc Viatri's Alfredo Froylan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Viatri from getting a goal against them. Domingo Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Afonso having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Domingo Ilixo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of ATL. SAN MARTIN's Silverio Afonso. Silverio Afonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Fc Viatri getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Julio Bertol hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Leoncio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Froylan was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Fulgencio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Viatri's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
